They gather people&#8217;s issues related to business objectives and deliver insights from strategic dashboards and analytical projects. They convert key insights into action in their business line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In reality, many organisations struggle to create an analytical mindset among their HR department. This makes it hard to boost the analytics and roadmaps of staff, or get senior HR employees to create a plan and ambition for employees within the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moving towards a fact-based culture in the workplace requires a change plan. Creating a change plan can help structure efforts in making the change happen. This will show to upper management that a change in mindset can happen, but not overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rakansarawak.com\/v3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/art-722-01-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10873\" width=\"557\" height=\"366\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www2.rakansarawak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/art-722-01-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www2.rakansarawak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/art-722-01-741x486.jpg 741w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 557px) 100vw, 557px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">It takes serious initiative and energy to make it happen. This is especially so when the change entails making strategic decisions based on data and analytics, when employees are often used to doing mostly operational activities without much use of data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A change plan for this objective should include targeting specific changes in behaviour, necessary phases for the change to happen, governance, budget and other factors related to the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The biggest challenge is to think up an effective and creative set of interventions. It is tempting to jump into masterclasses and train everyone in new data visualisation tools, but rushing into skills training with employees who do not have basic knowledge of analytics will put them in distress and they will not be able to learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Create a community of early adopters and change agents when rolling out a new change plan for fact-based HR. Find out who is on board with the plans and who is not. There is always a group within the HR community that already has a data driven mindset or is willing to learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Engage them as early adopters and promote fact-based working to create awareness. Moving down the line, those who are not as keen will eventually see the advantages of working in this capacity.
