A state-level One\u00a0District One Product (SDSI) workshop was held at Damai Beach Resort, Santubong to\u00a0provide the opportunity for over 80 participants to exchange\u00a0ideas and share entrepreneurial experiences. The workshop, held on 2 March 2015,\u00a0featured five guest speakers from Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.<\/p>\n

Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister\u2019s Office (Bumiputera Entrepreneur Development) and Assistant Minister of Resource Planning Development YB Datuk Haji Mohd Naroden Haji Majais (seated centre) declared open the workshop which was held.<\/p>\n

During the opening ceremony, YB Datuk Mohd Naroden pointed out that\u00a0participants would acquire additional knowledge given that foreign experts, who had succeeded in promoting their local products in their respective countries, had come to share their success\u00a0stories.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis workshop provides an avenue for all to brainstorm and come up with effective strategies to realise SDSI in Sarawak,\u201d added the Assistant Minister.<\/p>\n
