Forest Department Sarawak recently launched an application dedicated to digitally record data of their visitors during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

COVID Forestku Sayang enables guests to register their visit to the department\u2019s offices at Wisma Sumber Alam via a QR code or a website URL.<\/p>\n

According to Director of Forests Sarawak Datu Hamden Haji Mohammad, data collected through the application will be utilised for contact tracing should there be positive COVID-19 cases in the department, as well as in enhancing their services.<\/p>\n

In a few simple steps, visitors are required to scan the QR code with a QR code scanner app or visit cfs.forestry.com.my at the entrance of the department\u2019s premise.<\/p>\n

They will then submit their name, phone number and the department\u2019s office of their choice before proceeding with their visit.<\/p>\n
